Borago Baby was born out of the whirlwind fire of being a first-time mum. My daughter developed terrible cradle cap/scaly skin all over her face and scalp that no-one could help me with (click here for the full story). As desperate parents do, we scoured the internet for answers and eventually found a couple of scientific papers that used starflower oil to alleviate cradle cap in babies. What's more, the studies had a 100% success rate! But we found it very difficult to find pure starflower oil, even on the internet. When we finally did get some, it worked wonders – in only two weeks, we could see our beautiful daughter's face again and soon after that the scaliness had disappeared! Our doctor was amazed, our dermatologist was amazed, and I thought "Why hasn't anyone heard of this oil before??? Why is it so hard to get??? I know so many babies with cradle cap, and it is SO EASY to alleviate it!!! EVERYONE should know about starflower oil!"

And so I started Borago Baby. I am a work-at-home-mum with a mission. I want every mum to have a safe, natural option for alleviating the scaly skin experienced with cradle cap. I want every mum to feel the delicious thrill of her baby's super-soft velvet skin against her own, and to proudly share her adorable bundle with every cooing friend and relative without fearing they will comment on the scaly skin instead of truly seeing how utterly beautiful your baby is!

Because I care about the world I will leave behind to my children, my aim is to provide a sustainable product that helps set the standard for minimising our impact upon the earth while improving the lives of others.
